I'm in Granada

Through all the loop holes I had to jump through, through all the long nights worrying, through all the lines, checkpoints, and terminals, I made it to Granada, Spain. Yes, it was a very long trip. It was over 12 hours long. I left yesterday at 4:40 pm and I got into Granada, today (wednesday afternoon) at 2 pm. It was kind of a hairy situation. I had the wrong boarding pass and they lost my luggage, but I still seem to find a smile on my face when I think about all the people who truly care and love me. YOU are the people who got me through today.
My host mother is the sweetest little lady ever. We live in an apartment. Sam, my roommate, and I share one bedroom with two beds and a desk. We have our own bathroom and the apartment has WIFI. The apartment is bigger than I thought. Maria, has the apartment very organized and everything has a spot. When we got here she wanted to feed us right away. We had a ham/chicken soup, bread, and a tortilla potato thing. It was very interesting. It was very hard for me to eat because I am just so anxious with all of this change and my stomach is just a rolling. I hope these next couple of days I have the chance to talk with Maria and let her know some of the things I really do enjoy to eat, (I already broke it to her that I don't really eat meat.)
Anyways, tonight Sam and I are just trying to get organized as best as possible. I don't have my luggage so it's hard for me to unload. We are both extremely tired and can't wait for bedtime! We eat dinner at 8 pm and I am going to be ready for bed right after that! Tomorrow, we take our level tests at school. These tests put us in our grammar intensive school, which is the entire month of September. Then this weekend, we plan on seeing Granada, checking out some beaches, and just experiencing anything before school starts on Tuesday. Overall, I am so thankful for making it over here! Thank you for all the love and prayers! I will post as often as I can!!
